To flexibly respond to changes in the environment surrounding the oil industry and continuously contribute to improving economic efficiency at Oil refineries, Nippon Ketjen has developed and commercialized a next-generation RDS catalyst system with excellent performances. For the catalyst used on the upstream side of the system, so called HDM zone, we have developed superior guard and demetallization catalyst grades with increased metal capacity by applying a new carrier technology of an optimized pore structure. For catalysts used on the downstream side, so called HDS zone, we have developed desulfurization catalyst grades with improved HDS and HDCCR performances by optimizing the catalyst physical properties and active metal composition. By adding these next-generation catalysts to our existing RDS catalyst lineup, Nippon Ketjen can provide RDS catalyst systems that meet various customer needs.
